Botanica Hall is a beautiful and versatile space at Clapham Junction with floor to ceilings windows, an Urban Distillery and large island bar, making it the perfect backdrop for filming, from shooting adverts, films and TV programmes to hosting product launches and events.
As part of the iconic building Arding & Hobbs building, with its rich history and many original architectural details, the design is anchored on the existing aesthetics. Rooted in faded grand halls, abandoned buildings of old and a nod to Edwardian department stores. We favoured a minimal-intervention approach, exposing and renovating what lay beneath. In collaboration with local makers, designers and restoration houses, we layered in furniture, lighting and bespoke pieces. We renovated large metal warehouse doors, unearthed the original mosaic floor (hidden beneath years of screed and modern linoleum) and restored old plaster columns, crumbling cornices and decaying paintwork.
Botanica Hall has brilliant natural light flooding in from the large wrap-around windows. With a large island bar, open theatre kitchen with a wood-fired pizza oven and Urban Distillery & Tasting Room, it is the perfect backdrop.
Perfectly situated opposite Clapham Junction train station making it very easy to get to from all areas in, and around, London.
